About Us

Born and raised in Cap-Haitien, Haiti, Kettly Derival founded The Kettly Foundation Inc. in 2014, a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting underserved communities globally. Witnessing profound needs in places like Cape Verde, Kingston, Jamaica, Trinidad, Nepal, Brazil, and her native Haiti, Mrs. Derival has personally funded and partnered with various organizations to address critical issues related to education, healthcare, nutrition, and economic sustainability.

Since its inception until 2024, the foundation has built schools, donated medical supplies, sponsored children’s education, supported small businesses, and provided nutritious meals for children and the elderly. Additionally, Mrs. Derival financed the construction of religious infrastructures to meet spiritual needs in these communities.

Recognizing that the scale of need surpasses individual capacity, Kettly remains steadfast in her mission. Now, in collaboration with The Kettly Foundation team and diverse organizations, the foundation strives to create a more just and equitable world. 

The Kettly Foundation Inc. champions the inherent equality of all individuals, acknowledging structural and economic inequalities that perpetuate disparate life experiences. Our commitment is not only to recognize these disparities but also to actively dismantle them. 

Our approach is twofold: through strategic partnerships and collaborations, we aim to address immediate physical, emotional, and spiritual needs while tackling underlying inequities. Guided by principles of equity, we prioritize robust support for those facing the greatest obstacles.
